Our Story
From strangers to best friends, Amy & Gez’s journey began through a shared passion for music, brought together by a mutual friend. What started as casual conversations about jamming sessions soon blossomed into countless hours spent together, weekends away with partners, and even Christmases shared. Their unexpected yet deeply rooted friendship continues to grow stronger with each passing day.
In early 2023, they founded CIC, a music group that quickly gained momentum, first performing at local events around Wrexham before stepping confidently onto the live music scene. What began with a handful of gigs rapidly evolved into near-weekly performances at private events, pubs, and clubs, covering hundreds of miles between North Wales and the South of England.
CIC is constantly evolving, driven by a commitment to growth and excellence. After every performance, Amy, Gez & Paul dedicate time to refining and expanding their repertoire, ensuring a fresh, dynamic setlist that keeps audiences engaged and coming back for more.
In April 2025, Paul joined CIC, bringing with him years of experience and exceptional musical talent. His addition has added depth, richness, and a new energy to the band’s sound, elevating their live performances to an exciting new level.
The journey continues, with CIC’s music bringing joy, energy, and unforgettable moments to every event they play.
Amy: Lead Vocalist & Percussion
Who introduced you to music? My stepdad was a children's entertainer. He performed in holiday clubs, and I would sometimes go with him and sing on the stage; I was about 4 years old. As I got older, he left the holiday clubs and attended specific bookings for birthday parties, etc, I would go with him to these gigs, too. I started playing classical guitar in secondary school and then decided to start playing acoustic guitar so that I could assist my vocals. Between the ages of 15-17, I started busking in Cheltenham High Street and picked up wedding gigs by doing this.
What are your musical influences? Sam Fisher, Lewis Capaldi, James Bay, Fleetwood Mac, Noah Kahn, S Club 7, Blondie and Aretha Franklin.

Ames / The Boss / Diva - (2025).
What instruments can you play and which is your favourite? I've only ever played the guitar adapting to two opposing styles (classical and modern), so on that note, it would have to be, modern guitar for me.
If you could collaborate with any famous musician, past or present, who would it be and why? If I could perform with any musician, past or present, I would choose Billie Eilish. Her artistry is incredible, and she has a unique ability to blend vulnerability with power in her music. Plus, her stage presence and creativity are truly inspiring. I’d also love the chance to go back in time and perform with Fleetwood Mac, their harmonies, storytelling, and timeless sound have had such a lasting impact on music. Both would be unforgettable experiences in their own way.
Geraint: Guitar & Backing Vocals
Who introduced you to music? Growing up, my dad had a pretty eclectic collection of records, tapes, and CDs. I remember being exposed to a mix of artists like T-Rex and Adam Ant, along with a range of Motown classics. My older brother played a big role too, he passed down CDs that introduced me to the Beatles, The Who, Stereophonics, The Killers, Oasis, and Bob Dylan.
What are your musical influences? My biggest influence is Stereophonics, with touches of the Beatles, Oasis, and Bob Dylan woven into my sound.

Gez / Gezbian / Cherub - (2025).
What instruments can you play and which is your favourite? I spent several years playing in orchestras and brass bands, with the cornet as my first instrument. Later, I picked up the guitar, then moved on to bass and drums, but the guitar quickly became my favourite.
If you could collaborate with any famous musician, past or present, who would it be and why? As someone who has been a massive Stereophonics fan for more than two decades, there’s no question that Kelly Jones stands out as a huge inspiration to me. His songwriting has always resonated deeply, rich with storytelling, and authenticity. And then there’s his voice: that raw, husky tone that’s powerful, emotional, and unique.
Paul: Bass Guitar
Who introduced you to music? I just remember sitting in the back of my Mum and Dad’s car on trips, either for days out or weekends away to go camping. My Dad would have the radio on and I would just love to sing along in the back. Then as I got older I just found music channels, or I hung out with friends that loved certain bands. Because I had different friend groups I became very eclectic with my preference and styles.
What are your musical influences? I love all sorts. 3 of my favourite artists are Kings of Leon, Post Malone and John Mayer. In terms of basslines, Motown and Soul hold some of the most memorable for me.

Paulos / Pat / Willo - (2025).
What instruments can you play and which is your favourite? Bass has been my main instrument over almost 17 years. I do dabble with a bit of guitar, drums and keys (not to a high standard though).
If you could collaborate with any famous musician, past or present, who would it be and why? I honestly think I would choose Post Malone. From what I’ve heard he’s very eclectic, passionate about his music, and generally comes across as the politest guy in music. He’s so humble and I feel like I’d be able to build a good friendship with him. Plus, given the amount of collabs with other artists, I’d be able to cheat my way into other collaborations myself.
